  1.                     Registration Information for RkPlus 3.1

  4. RkPlus is being distributed as Shareware.  This does not mean it is free! If 
  5. you use RkPlus to develop software, you are required to register BEFORE 
  6. releasing it.  The registration fee is $30.  If you have already registered 
  7. RkPlus 2.x, you may upgrade to version 3.1 by paying only the $10 difference 
  8. (registration of RkPlus 2.x was $20).  If you have registered RkPlus 3.0, there 
  9. is no fee for upgrading to version 3.1.

  11. There are no royalties for the distribution of programmes that are written with 
  12. RkPlus.  A single registration fee entitles you to write and distribute any 
  13. number of programmes using RkPlus.
  14.  
  15. Programmes written with unregistered copies of RkPlus will display the message 
  16. "RkPlus 3.1 Unlicenced Evaluation Copy" when they are first executed. There is 
  17. no delay or beep.  This is NOT intended as an annoyance, simply as a gentle 
  18. reminder that RkPlus is Shareware and should be registered if it is actually 
  19. used for software development.  Programmes written with registered copies of 
  20. RkPlus will not display this message.

  22. The latest version of RkPlus is always available to registered users, on a 
  23. diskette with a printed typeset manual for $10.
  24.  
  25. The source code for rKey and RkPlus are now available to registered users of 
  26. RkPlus.  The source code for rKey is $30 and the source code for RkPlus is $90. 
  27. Purchasing the source code will licence the user to modify the code for use in 
  28. his/her own programmes.  However, modified versions of the units may not be 
  29. distributed and the source code may not be distributed in any form (modified or 
  30. unmodified).  The source code for RkPlus does not include the source code to 
  31. the Rkp2Enc and Rkp3Enc units, since this could possibly compromise the 
  32. security of anyone using version 2.x and 3.x keys.  When ordering source code, 
  33. you MUST fill out and return LICENCE.FRM.

  35. To register RkPlus (as well as order the latest version on diskette, and/or 
  36. purchase source code) print REGISTER.FRM, fill it out and mail it to the 
  37. address below:

  43. along with a Cheque or Money Order made out to SERIOUS CYBERNETICS.  Your 
  44. registration key will be sent via your choice of US Mail, FidoNet NetMail or 
  45. E/Mail on our support BBS.  This will allow you to brand your copy of RkPlus as 
  46. a registered copy, and can also be used to brand updates (3.2, 3.3, 3.4 etc).  
  47. Registered copies of RkPlus should NOT be distributed.  FidoNet NetMail can
  48. only be sent to VALID FidoNet nodes.  Nodes outside of Zone 1 (North America)
  49. will need to poll our system, as we are currently unable to successfully
  50. connect with overseas nodes.  In order to receive your key by E/Mail, you
  51. must be a current user of our support BBS or include PHOENIX.FRM with your
  52. registration.

  54. Please make all cheques and money orders out in US funds.

  56. We would also like to request a copy of each programme that you release with 
  57. RkPlus.  Copies of such products, registered to SERIOUS CYBERNETICS, would be 
  58. much appreciated, should you extend to us this courtesy.  They may be sent on 
  59. diskette (any format) to the above address, or uploaded to our support BBS 
  60. (Phoenix StarFighter BBS, 404-869-3410, FidoNet 1:3616/20).

  63. programme or tool may be en route.  If you have a particular need that you've 
  64. been unable to fill, tell us about it.
